Concern: There is a perception that sessions for school librarians at ALA Annual are limited. There is little publicity regarding AASL sessions at ALA Annual and the program guide does not offer a listing of sessions by division. The process for submitting a presentation proposal is not well publicized nor does it synchronize with the proposal process for AASL’s National Conference.
Action: The Affiliate Executive Committee did not approve this concern for submission to the Affiliate Assembly body.
