Concern: While it is indeed a privilege for a state affiliate to host the bi-annual AASL National Conference and Exhibition, it is important to promote the health and sustainability of the affiliate organization by ensuring that the largest percentage of their members are enabled to attend the national conference and stay engaged with the local affiliate. That could be done more effectively by creating an affiliate tool kit.
Action: The Affiliate Executive Committee did not approve this concern for submission to the Affiliate Assembly body.
